Hockey 4 Youth launched its first two girls-only programs in Ottawa in February 2020. The program was delivered to 53 new Canadians from Ridgemont and Gloucester High Schools in grades 9-12.
In 2023, Hockey 4 Youth started an additional girls program for neurodivergent students at Ottawa Technical Secondary School.
The Ottawa program was launched with assistance from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, the City of Ottawa, OSEG Foundation, and Osler.
